The Agile Coach Camp US (ACCUS2017) is now SOLD OUT.
Agile Coach Camp US is an unconference which uses Open Space Technology to bring together people interested in helping software development organizations and their business partners get better at mastering their craft. A wide variety of topics get explored at each Camp.
Agile Coach Camp US is organized in a different city each year by practitioners from local Agile, Lean and Kanban communities. Learn about History of ACCUS.
For the first time ever, this highly collaborative and participatory event will come to NYC. If you are an Agile/Lean or Kanban Coach, Scrum Master or other experienced practitioner in this field, you can’t afford to miss it! Learn about this year’s organizers.
Prior agile coach camp events have been attended by agile team members, agile coaches, independent consultants, as well as executives and executive coaches responsible for large-scale software delivery activities and agile transformations.
Growing a Community of Practice
Agile Coach Camp is about creating a network of practitioners of not only Agile coaches, but related fields such as psychology, facilitation, anthropology, educators, sociologists, game designers, and a multitude of other disciplines. We look for people who are striving to push the limits in guiding software development teams, managers, leaders and beyond, while staying true to the values and principles at the core of the Agile movement. We invite practitioners who, like you, are passionate about their work, active in the field and willing to share what they’ve learned. Prepare to be surprised! It’s a great chance to form relationships that can last a lifetime. This is an opportunity for us to create a lifeline of professional support for each other.
My business card doesn’t say “Agile Coach”. Can/should I still come?
Are you in a role where you mentor or facilitate other people in your organization? Whether you are a formal “leader”, a hired consultant, or an internal change agent or influencer, this is definitely a camp for you.
We are always looking across communities to create and share ideas; here’s some examples. Much of agile coaching involves facilitated experiential learning in the form of games, we’d love to collaborate with game designers (board games or video games) to find ways to make these more fun and valuable. Or sociologists and organizational psychologists to help improve our understanding of organizational behavior. Or perhaps UX folk that can help make Information Radiators more enriching.
We invite you to join us to experience the power of collaboration and cross-pollinating ideas!
What is the best way to help?
Register to attend the camp and help us spread the word. Talk to your friends, your colleagues, your boss – invite these passionate people with ideas to come along with you!
More details will be coming soon to include our 2017 Theme, venue and Open Space facilitator.
We look forward to seeing our fellow coaches!
